Since the early rise of mankind, people have painted. Hunters imaged the animals they depended on for food, clothing and tools. Their paintings can be found in caves like Lascaux and Chauvet (France) and Altamira (Spain), and under overhanging rock walls like in Laas Geel (Somalia), Tassili Hajjes (Algeria) and Drakensberg and Kamberg (South Africa). Inspired by their art I made my own interpretation with watercolor pigments and coffee (and sometimes diluted acryl) to create my cows, bulls and horses.
