Welcome to my Lab

Painting with Paper pieces

I selected my paint by the colors, shapes and texts from magazines and papers, teared them to pieces, and shaped and combined them by moving them carefully into a portrait. After the work was completed, I made several pictures and ... broke it down again. Pieces of each portrait are kept separately together in a in a plastic sleeve. Waiting for a final redraft, or for a total make over? The result will never be the same. A a selection of 9 out of 27 current works. Only available in a new make-over.

Thanks to Jan Baas for pushing me gently into the idea of making collages. Arlette and Frederike for their bright idea to recycle the paper pieces by new artists to reconstruct their own heads. The birth of the "collage chain reaction".
