Freestyle masks, heads or caricatures, but not portraits, inspired by the Tschäggätta masks of Wallis Switzerland, and African arts, made in Wallis CH and Henneviken SE. They represent a primal feeling that I am attracted and connected to, being one with nature, carved out of stone: coarse faces, sullen looks, clumsy shapes, pockmarked skin, absent eyes, no nonsense, ghost-like, down to earth, painted in mud.
All are unique artworks on paper, A3 in size, using swedish (Falu) mudpaints and natural pigments, occasionally highlighted with wax pastel.
